Staff Support

Staff support funds

Each staff member that joins PTSA will have access to funds set aside to support the needs of the Hilltop students and community. Check the “Staff Funds” file to confirm the amount. 

Please note, items bought with PTSA funds are considered property of Hilltop Elementary.
At this time, PTSA cannot reimburse for transportation, however, we can reimburse for entrance or other fees associated with field trips.
As you are reimbursed for expenses throughout the year, the attached tracking file,  “Staff Funds 22-23”, will be periodically updated and posted to reflect the remaining amount. 

PTSA also provides $100 of additional funds for Brainworks if you are a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade teacher. 

Reimbursement process

To get reimbursed, fill out our reimbursement form. There are also copies of the form on the PTSA wall in the office hallway. Attach your receipts to the form and place them in the red Treasurer folder. Forms will be picked up every other Friday of the month (starting Sept 16th). 

Submit reimbursements within 30 days of spending to ensure timely reimbursement.
The last day to submit reimbursements is May 20th, 2023.  

Grant Request

We have some funds set aside in our budget for special grants beyond the staff support budget.  Fill out a PTSA Grant Request and email it to Contact@HilltopPTSA.org. Grant requests will be reviewed during our monthly meetings. Please plan to attend so that we may ask questions if needed. 

Staff Appreciation

In addition, we would like to provide a staff appreciation event every other month and a week in May. If you have suggestions/requests please email Contact@HilltopPTSA.org.

Please fill out the online form. It is a wonderful way for families to get to know our staff and provide a few extra things for you as well.

PTSA Family Nights or days

We would like to focus on having a fun event every month to help our families connect with one another. The activity calendar can be found in the office hallway.

Fundraisers

We plan to do a fun run event in November, a read-a-thon in February, a raffle in the spring, and regular Eat Out nights. 

Our passive fundraisers are through Fred Meyers and Amazon. 

Search for Hilltop Elementary PTSA in the charity organizations for each company to sign up. It’s an easy way to support PTSA while doing your day to day shopping. 

Staff support of PTSA There are a few ways staff could support PTSA

• Include PTSA information in your family communications.
• Attend monthly PTSA meetings are usually the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30PM. The link is on www.HilltopPTSA.org
• Participate in PTSA events! Volunteer or just come to mingle and enjoy the event!
  Having staff members in attendance means so much to students.
