What is the Husky Fun Run?
The Husky Fun Run is this year’s biggest fundraiser, ending with a
celebration run on 09/26/2023, during the school day. Families will ask sponsors for donations for the MINUTES their student(s) will complete during the run. Funds raised from this event go toward student classroom enrichment (games, art supplies, etc), library books, PE equipment, and free school wide events! Our goal is to raise $20,000.
Students can earn prizes and ALL students will get a FREE Hilltop Huskies T-shirt!
How can families register their student(s)?
First, families log in or sign up on MYBOOSTER.COM. Then, families can register their student as a participant on
MYBOOSTER.COM by searching for the school by name. Students get a FREE prize just for being registered.
How can students get donations?
Families can help connect students to sponsors by sharing their fundraising link on Facebook, through email, or even a text.
Sponsors can enter and pay for those donations online through students’ fundraising link!
Can my employer contribute?
In addition to being a sponsor, many companies offer corporate matching and you can up to DOUBLE your donation! Find out your company offers corporate matching (or volunteer matching) at mybooster.com/v3/corporatematch
Will my student really complete 30-35 minutes? How big is the track?
Yes, even kindergarteners! The Outdoor Fun Run track is about 1/16th of a mile, 1/4 the size of a normal high school track. The average student will complete 25-30 minutes. The most any student will be counted for is 35 minutes.
Can students receive a prize for flat donations?
Yes! All flat donations count toward donations and are rounded by 30 so a $30 donation is the same as $1 per minute. A $60
donation is the same as $2 per minute, etc.
How do sponsors pay?
Sponsors will be prompted to pay online for all donations, even per minute donations. Sponsors will receive an email after the
Hilltop Fun Run with the amount of their payment based on how many minutes were completed.
What if families don’t have the Internet?
If a student’s family does not have Internet access, families can pick up a Student Donation Packet from the school office to collect cash and checks and return it to their teacher by 10/3/2023.
Can I write a check?
For donations not made on MYBOOSTER.COM, you can still turn in cash or check. Please make checks out to: Hilltop Elementary PTSA.
When is donation money due?
Donation money is due on 10/3/2023. Families have one week to collect their donations after the Husky Fun Run.
Can I volunteer?
Yes! Grown Ups who have completed a background check through Edmonds School District can sign up to mark laps, pass out
water and cheer on students! Go to secure.safevisitor.io/Safe/Volunteer/edmondssd/volunteer today! Processing can take up to 2 weeks.
